Bereaved siblings are affected by sibling loss in countless ways. Due to the various impacts of sibling loss, it is of the utmost importance for siblings to care for their mind, body, and spirit. Engaging in self-care is crucial for bereaved siblings because they have the enormous task of being there for everyone else to their detriment. Therefore, they deserve to be loved and appreciated for what they do and who they are.

Spiritual self-care is connecting to one's higher power or authentic self. It can embody prayer, meditation, and seeking guidance from a spiritual care provider.
