A valuable book for any adolescent, Grieving for the Sibling You Lost, includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) based activities to assist siblings counter maladaptive thinking and takes an in-depth look into the importance of meaning making after sibling loss. 

Author, T. J. Wray emphasizes the importance of understanding adult sibling loss. This book discusses the invalidation faced by many siblings and why this form of loss requires further exploration. It includes outlines coping strategies through journaling as well as obtaining a support system. 

In this poignant literature, Elizabeth DeVita-Raeburn shares the story of her relationship with her brother Ted and his subsequent passing. But she also expands this piece by interviewing hundreds of other siblings who detail their experiences with loss and coping.
